The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023

We are pleased to be participating in this year’s BigGive #ChristmasChallenge! This means all your donations made to us through the Big Give will be matched up to £4,664, helping us raise £9,328 in just 7 days.

In Zambia, Grade 7 girls drop out of school at more than double the rate of boys. By Grade 11, girls drop out at more than three times the rate of their male peers. In digital spaces, girls are severely underrepresented.  Particularly in rural settings where access, cost, lack of skills, and socio-cultural barriers limit girls’ ability to engage with technology.

Your generosity will reach over 2,000 young girls in Livingstone. The funds raised will help run homework and literacy clubs, football training for well-being, digital skills lessons and provision of a daily nutritious meal.  By providing opportunities like these, girls can reach their full potential and thrive.

Our campaign is backed by The Coles-Medlock Foundation, a grant-making organisation focused on alleviating poverty and hardship. Together, your support will also allow us to change lives, uplift communities, and create opportunities where there were none.
